Description:
The Cytospin 4 cytocentrifuge provides thin-layer cell preparations from any liquid matrix. Using centrifugal force, the cytocentrifuge deposits cells onto a clearly defined area on the microscope slide while residual fluid is absorbed into the cytofunnel’s filter card. It is an efficient method for cell capture and produces excellent results with hypo-cellular fluids such as cerebrospinal fluid and urine. Cytocentrifuged cells can then be fixed and stained for microscopy and other analysis.
